Superb! The house in question is occupied by the following. I found other census entries and Anne appears to have been born in 1801, so for once in the 1841 census the rounded age is correct.

Anne Jessop - 40
Amelia " - 18
Edward - 20
Mary - 14
Frederick 12
Julia 10

I wonder if it went like this..

"Edward and Amelia are your children correct?"
"Yes why?"
"Well I am sorry but looking at your children and youself, I do not think you really are 40, 50 maybe but not 40.
"**** OFF you **** ****** worthless ****** piece of ****** take your census and shove it up your ******* you fat ugly bald *******"
Hit a Brickwall? Have you lost all trace of someone? Do not despair, simply make a note they were abducted by aliens! Don't believe in aliens? No problem, just write them off as having disapeared in a time portal

I wasn't a house, it was a school, so perhaps the schoolmistress didn't feel like she should give details of children living there.
There's no place like home ......
