Had to laugh when I found it, now we know why there are so many missing Ancestors on the Census

Folio 204a. I Godfrey Rowley Perkin Enumerator of District 1j hereby certify that I made such errors in copying the Schedules into the Enumeration Book that I was ashamed to allow it to be seen, and therefore I took out eight pages between page 1 and page 10 of the said Enumeration Book and destroyed them, which rendered it necessary to re-number the pages of the book after Page 1. In every other respect the book is perfect and complete and the inhabited houses of the district are numbered in consecutive order. Witness my hand this fifteenth day of April 1851. GRP.
