A collegue of mine is off to Australia later in the year, and like me is vertically challenged!
Can anyone recomend shopping in Sydney that stocks petite clothing? She's mainly interested in trousers and jeans.

Mothercare

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Nice one Pete !! It is a disadvantage though when you're on the short side. I remember when I had my eldest Baptised, my aunty took me into Birmingham to get me something to wear and I had a dress out of C & A children's department. Does have it upsides though, I could still get away with paying half fare on the bus and train until I was about 20.
There's no place like home ......

Since my wife is only 4' 8" we have this problem all the time.
The major Aussie department stores, David Jones and Myers, both have smaller size sections in their clothing departments.
Particular brands that go down to a size 6 or 7 are Marcs, Veronica Mayne (spelling?) and one I think is still going, Jigsaw.
My wife usually just shops in the junior section.
This lot have a store fairly close to us and I believe they have one in the Chatswood shopping centre in Sydney.
