Salathial Artess 1893 - 26/9/1917 COMPLETED

Help please
Going through individuals, Salathial caught my eye when I saw death date given to me by relation. He was 25 could he have been killed in ww1?
He is buried at Tipton cemetary with his mother Mary Ann Atress grave no C77B
Look up please on any ww1 info, as its a strange name I'm getting no where.

If you get his death certificate it should tell you where and how he died.
In 1911 he is working at a colliery so perhaps he was never called-up?
