Fast Forward, stop pause aggghhhhhhhh

I never managed to ever work a video properly

and I am still getting confused with this DVD lark

I missed the Suspicions of Mr Whichall the other day and think I deleted it :roll:

Why cant they just give you one remote that you can point at the screen that you can use
on tv, dvd, and the oven

and does my dvd recorder keep jumping and freezing cos other people are pressing pause!
And when I press pause does it mean everyone elses pauses?

How many of you had their video flashing the time 00:00 because you never figured out how to change it?

You are a generation behind. It BluRay nowadays.

And you can get programmable remotes. I purchased one several years ago and set up single buttons for the missus.

For instance, one button started the TV, switched to the correct AV channel, started the DVD Player and turned the surround on.

I decided to do that after she rang me at work threatening bodily harm because she could get the DVD picture on the TV but no sound or DVD Sound with no picture :roll:

Why is it men seem to think a remote is an etension of their arm and can't put them down while watching tv.!

Personally i think men who sit and watch tv with the remote in their hand are probably insecure.
