I couldnt believe some of the songs i was hearing last night.Underwater divers from Montenegro singing rap and most of the songs sounded exactly the same.It took me a couple of minutes to determine whether they were singing in English or their national tongue!!
Anouk was like a breath of fresh air.She won't win it some crap song from Kutjestan will.

Sorry to have to say that my family voted it a very boring song :( I kept telling them it was good but they just wouldn't have it.

Congrats to Snoopysue!
I voted for the Netherlands. Glad Norway did not win and I am totally mystified about how Ukraine got that many votes

still too much politics in the voting, graham norton was caling the 8 10 and 12 point most of the time correctly before the country gave the result,

 What are you implying Peterd? That the countries refrain from voting for the best song?
That is so cynical. You've spoilt my sunday now. :(

no i think overall the best song won what i hear of them but the eastern europeans vote was a lot of politics played even cyprus gave greece the 12 point again, if you could get a table of country votes for the last 5 years put them together would there be a pattern of votting me thinks yes for quite a few of them

I'm not convinced about this political argument. People just like the sort of music that they are used to hearing. So Cyprus likes Greek music. I can't see that many people think politically.

Thanks Gardener i can watch next year's contest with a contented heart.Happy in the knowledge that no skull duggery takes place and all votes are directed to the song not the country.

I thought he meant it, and now you have ruined it
Really, I think at least half the people vote based on the dress or lack of it.
People don't even bother to vote politically for a government so why they would for Eurovision is beyond me.
