Too busy looking after the living.

Both my teenage girls have been diagnosed with clinical depression.

Both are suicidal.

I have been on suicide watch with them for several months now.

Australia has the best standard of living in the world but the highest teenage suicide rate.

Go figure!

Depression is a sneaky and horrible disease that can be controlled.

Keeping the victims alive whilst they try different drug and therapy routines is the hard part.

There is no genetic history of it on either side of my family.

The girls each have different biological mothers but the same birth mother.

The history of the biological mothers I have shows no history either.

Just bad luck.

Mark that is devestating.I do hope they come through it.
I had the same thing came out of the blue one night about 5 years ago woke up in night
and had to go outside could not be inside....Doc. put me on Citilopram 20g....done the job! now it's just as bad coming off em'
mind you in a female I think Hormones play a big part.

They are on different medication from each other. They have both ramped down and come off one medication and are ramping up on another.

Its a nightmare!
