The Beautiful Frock

The Beautiful Frock

"Buy me Lady" said the frock
"and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL and WHOLE and COMPLETE Human Being."
"Do not be silly," said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that."
"TRUE," said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well."
Edward Monkton.

I only ever buy clothes when one is worn out. My kids laugh if they catch me sewing/darning them.
My shoes I have till water gets in and a bag till it falls apart.
I must be odd :?

My husband doesn't always notice what I buy - I'll have worn something enough for it just starting to show signs of age, and he'll ask me if it's new. And then the silly man lifts an eyebrow when I say I've had it for ages!!
