I'm with Pete on this one, though obviously my sympathies go to her family and friends.

I agree with Pete , My husband was out of work for two years ,and the interest rate on our mortgage went as high as 15% at one time. I am sorry for her family but that's as far as it goes .

She dragged England from the brink of ruin.

She made the hard decisions that politicians who are more concerned about re-election wont.

I doubt Great Britain's standard of living would be as high as it is today without her destruction of the socialist minority.

There were casualties to her policies and they are the one dancing on her grave.

But history shows that, for the majority of citizens, she did the right things.

I won;t argue against those who hate her. They have been directly affected by what she did.

easy to say mark, might be different if you were on the reciving end like i was, had a good job working for british steel good money the company was the only site making a profit and it was shut down for political reasons, ( there was an offer put up by a consortium to buy it at scrap price and keep 3,000 to 4,000 men in employment the goverment wanted full working price for it) ended up with nearly 40% unemployment in the town i had to go to the other end of the country to find work in the end.
