He married a Widow Fanny Howard at Stourbridge Register Office 1898

Hi Mumbles according to the Cradley Vicar this John Yates was Uncle to Harry (brother of Joseph.)

Yes definetly, needs connecting. There were only 3 Yates Census entries in Cradley 1851.

I have these notes on Levi, he is in my tree:-
Levi was the illegitimate son of Ann Jones, she Married Joseph Willetts in 1834. Marriage Details:- Levi Willetts full bach Labourer Dudley - Joseph Willetts Carpenter ( was Step Father, mother Ann Jones born about 1809) - Elizabeth Bayliss full spinster Dudley - Thomas Bayliss Nailer. By Banns all made their mark. Witnesses were Jemima Willetts and Joseph Knowles.

Joseph Yates is on BCC twice, once born 1810 and this link 1818;-

Linell I have connected John & Joseph Yates from Vicars notes and added their father and Census details
If they are doubled can you sort please as your tree
John Married an Ann Forrest and her mother lives with her in 1871 ( Added on bcc)
