Re: Joseph Sankey & Sons
I thinks Ann Chambers sister of Emma Chambers married John Thompson of Bolier Makers John Thompson Ltd.
Thompson John & Anne Chambers Wolverhampton 6B 637 1862
Which means Two of biggest Industrial firms in Bilston/ Wolverhampton were connected

Re: Joseph Sankey & Sons
Now found connection between Thompson and Sankey and Wright families
latter were Ironmasters and owners of Rowley Hall Colliery
It is going to take ages to add but these families were all connected and major industrialists in 19th century
Wills left large sums and they passed on firms to subsequent generations

Re: Joseph Sankey & Sons
Can connect same families to Isaac Jenks Ironmaster and Mayor of Wolverhampton in 1872/3
Present chain of office donated by him
Other members of other families were also Mayors of Wolverhampton

Re: Joseph Sankey & Sons
Ok to Archive but still adding as practically every Mayor of Wolverhampton and Large Industrialist in 19th Century connects through marriages.
