Think the parents of this Elijah are WILLIAM and Lucy.

Another Elijah b abt 1835 is son of Joseph Shakespeare and Harriet. This Joseph was brother of Elijah b 1810.
Think one of these two later Elijahs b abt 1835 must have married Harriet Perrins in 1858 but don't know which one!

Just had another look - it looks as though the Elijah that married Harrit Perrins IS the son of William and Lucy ( think she was a Skidmore, marriage at Old Swinford), as the Elijah who was son of Joseph and Harriet is unmarried and still living with father and step-mother (Mary) in 1861.

Think we may need some lookups.

I also suspect that this William who m Lucy may be another son (b 1814) of Benjamin and Sarah, but there is another bapt in 1813 son of John and Jane, so can't be sure, but naming his son Elijah is a clue. Wonder who the marriage witnesses were?

Is anyone able to check on witnesses for this?

I strongly suspect that this William is the brother of Elijah b 1810 - William was b1814. Among William and Lucy's children is another Elijah, almost certainly the one who married Harriet Perrins (see earlier post).

To go slightly off track:

Had a look on IGI for Lucy Skidmore, supposedly born about 1814 Kingswinford according to census (William Shakespeare's wife) - only bapt I can see is 17 Nov 1811 d of Francis & Elizabeth Skidmore.
This would make sense as marriage took place at Old Swinford, but age about 3 years out according to census (and age at burial) - nothing new there then!

We have two bapts ( both at Brierley Hill) for William:
One in 1813 s of John and Jane
One in 1814 s of Benjamin and Sarah (ie Elijahs brother from the other thread)

Can anyone find Florence b abt 1869/70 in 1871 - if we can find her with her parents we may be able to work out which William is which from the name of his brother (ie Florence's father).
