Charles Cameron and Frances Hook
Looking for information on the following couple....they would be my maternal great grandparents on my grandmothers side
I have found someone else researching the same part of the family unfortunately I can't access their information as they haven't made it public on Ancestry.co.uk
Just hoping someone may be a member on here

Re: Charles Cameron and Frances Hook
Charles would have been born around 1879
BC Wench...yes that's them....I found that this morning and have printed off a copy
Unfortunately it seemed to be common in those days for fathers and sons....mothers and daughters to have the same name....I have been following a line of Charles Camerons back as far as 1881 census but I'm not certain it's my family....I was hoping that the person that has the marriage cert for Charles and Frances might see this and get in touch

Tangobunny, you can contact the person who has the family on Ancestry, even though their tree is private.

Sorry. didn't realise you weren't subscribed to Ancestry.
You shouldn't rely entirely on other peoples research on Ancestry, it can be a good guide but beware. Someone has my gt gt grandfather on there marrying 3 different women and about 20 children (he married once)!! Some of the children are listed as younger than their parents. When I see the mistakes I feel like sending a message, but then I think, if somebody wants to believe the info is true, so be it.

Re: Charles Cameron and Frances Hook
Thanks RF I have that information.....I did manage to find someone on ancestry who is distantly related and she allowed me to view her tree so I've got quite a bit further on that side of the family
BC Wench....I know exactly what you mean....I've just come across someone with my relatives written in on her tree.....she has my Great grandmother married to the wrong person.....that's in another part of my family ....
