Those big houses are still there Mally - have a look at Beaumont Road, Blackheath on Google Earth. There are a couple of smaller houses where the shop used to be - but I bet they are the same buildings.

..and so they are, those same 3 story houses and the shop! I agree it's the same building converted into 2 houses

just realised...Mumbles sent me this along with the photo
"I was born in Beaumont Road and shop is Woottons Shop. My Grandparents owned Shop at 16 Belgrave Road ( It is still there but is a house)"

I says 60 Beuamont Rd. But if you zoom in the shop is No 56.

Doesn't seem to be in any census till 1911. Was it renamed?
I find it amusing that in picture we have at least a dozen children and now one of the houses has a "No Ball Play" sign.
