Nostalgia

Post by dianel »

Had to share this with you. This is who came out as a surprise guest at a concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of Melbourne's favourite music venues.

How fantastic she is at ANY age!

Brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks, Jimmy. I spent hours on uTube tonight going from one to the next and the next Seekers clip, then found some of Judiths's jazz singing. Wow!

She got a standing ovation at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl.

Great to see this Di,
I used to sing this and other Seekers songs when I was in a folk group many years ago I used to try and do my hair like hers, all over one shoulder, but it never stayed ! Still play their music now occasionally.
I hope I look that good when I'm 65!! Well, actually, I wish I looked that good now at 53!!
