I found this site while searching for Accles and Pollock and will be adding to the discussions I have found.
I am mainly trying to find out all I can about my ancestors by the surname of Dowell.
I have traced most of them through the Langley/Rowley area and they appear to originate in Leicestershire in the early 1800's.
Any information would be very welcome.
Any old 'Apollo' (A&P) mags. to buy or copy would also be very much appreciated.
