ARC...James Hickman & Connections?

Post by sp1 »

This James:
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... man-Family

I have now added the children that I know of (Ithink there may have been more, but they probably were born and died between censuses), and their known spouses.

James Hickman & Louisa Wright married 1875, St Giles, Rowley Regis (I dont have exact date or details as when I started my research many years ago one of their daughters was still alive!, so sort of bypassed getting it).

Of their children that I know marriages for:
Joseph m Clara Walker (this was already on BCC)

Rosanna m Samuel Woodall (he was born abt 1886, Dudley, found in 1911 with children, but no other details - is he possibly already on BCC?) m 1907, St Johns, Kates Hill

Elizabeth ('Lizzie'), had an illegitimate daughter, Chrissie b 1905, then later married someone named Hadley, but have never found who. Chrissie was living with her grandmother, Louisa, in 1911 as 'adopted daughter' - she married John Osborne 16 May 1925, St Thomas, Dudley (he was born about 1903)

Amey m William Davis (he was b abt 1886) 23 Feb 1913, St Johns, Kates Hill.

Daisy m Thomas Onions 1923, St Johns, Kates Hill (have no other details about him).

I have been unable to find them in other years (Caroline died 1903, and Thomas 1911).

I have not been able to find Thomas & Carolines marriage - may have to get birth cert for one of the children to find Carolines maiden name and see if she had another Christian name she may have married under.

Had actually spotted that one on WestMidsBMD and noted it as a possibility Farside. Think I need to get that birth cert!
There is marriage for a Caroline on FreeBMD in 1846 in, I think, Northampton, but it seems too early.
This family has frustrated me for a long time - there are too many Hickmans in Gornal!
