OK this is a long shot, i haven't used this forum for a while, so hope you are all well.
I Recently had contact from a member of another forum, who now lives in Australia, who would like some help with his family research.
He is seeking help on Frederick & Elsie Allen but unfortunately he has little info to offer. over than this.
Frederick and Elsie Allen lived in Caversham, berks and had 2 daughters. It is information on this family and the daughters he is trying to find, he guesse's they would off been born roughtly between 1935- 1940. He cannnot remember names for the daughters, nor can he remember the maiden name for Elsie. So being what i consider a novice to family research, i have drawn a blank. Is there anyone who uses this forum that maybe able to help, based on what little info i have.
Sorry i know this is a big ask, as it would be easier with more details to offer, but maybe someone maybe familiar with the name, or have means that i possible don't.
Thank you

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Re: Help with a look up please.
Thanks for your help, i have had confirmation, that this is in fact the correct family.
Truthfully, i currently have no sub to any genealogy site at present, and am finding that without one i can seek little info. and cannot find anything on FBMD site. So another cheeky ask.
please could someone look up the deaths of Frederick and Elsie, and also see if they can find marriages or deaths for Betty and Jean Allen.

With you mentioning Caversham, I checked out my Oxon FHS CD. I couldn't find the marriage there but here are the girls' baptisms in St John's,Caversham -
Born 23 March 1937, baptised 6 June Betty Elaine d/o Frederick John & Elsie Beatrice Evelyn Allen of 54 Kings Road, Caversham. Frederick was a nurseryman.
Born 2 May 1939, Baptised 2 July Jean Margaret d/o Frederick John & Elsie Evelyn Allen of 54 Kings Road, Caversham. Frederick was a water-man. God parents names are: E Grimes, C Grimes & D Snow.
It is possible that Betty or Jean could still be alive.
Thanks again for your help.
Regards
Alison.
