Hiya
I'm back again with another poser for you experts. On the LDS site, if the Source Film number is the same for several children with the same father's name, despite quite a stretch of years, i.e. someone born 1655 and possibly fathering a child in 1700, does it mean that it IS the same father? Some records state the mother's name and the birth date and some don't, but the Source Film number is the same for all of them...?
Thanks.

Re: LDS Familysearch
Probably another generation, or a different family altogether, easier if it they have unusual names, need to check the Parish Register really see if any other details are given. Some entries are also second marriages, you can have a Widower who may marry two Mary's for example.

Re: LDS Familysearch
Someone born 1655 would have only been 45 in 1700 so easily possible for him to have fathered a child - are there regular intervals between the children?
