Ann Egginton born 1832

Post by mumbles »

I tracked Ann Egginton as daughter of Abel Egginton

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =367952732

and location and Census all looked correct but then noticed tree on Ancestry with totally different line from marriage to a John Egginton in 1851 by an Ann Peasnall and then Marriage to Isaac Watson in 1857
I think Ancestry Tree is wrong as Ann Peasnall was born in Northamptonshire or Oldbury Warks. not Oldbury Worcs. as Ann who married Isaac Watson was

Ancestry Tree looks like using marriage of Samuel Egginton to Ellen Brown as foundation for using John Egginton line rather than Abel Egginton line

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =462812796

Marriage 15/7/1877
St.John The Evangelist , Kates Hill, Dudley
Samuel Eggington 21 b. Brickmaker father John Egginton (dec.) Furnace Man
Ellen Brown 19 sp. no father detailed

Only one Samuel Egginton born West Bromwich at that time so link to Isaac Watson is correct but either my version of line from Abel Egginton is correct and John Egginton on marriage cert is false or Ancestry tree is correct but locations for birth of Ann Watson (nee Egginton or Peasnall) on census are incorrect.

who were the witnesses on marriage ?
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Still something funny as Ann Egginton is shown as widow on marriage details
and father James Egginton
and father of Samuel Egginton is shown as John Egginton on marriage cert.
