Looking for Thomas Jackson born Pocklington Yorks 1758

I am trying to track down an ancestor Thomas Jackson born 23 October 1758 in Pocklington Yorkshire, son of Matthew and Anne Jackson. I have found his birth on family search but there is no trace on ancestry and I am wondering how to progress it further. Any suggestions?

any siblings, have you found his marriage, do the witnesses help ?
