Hi San, I know this family Cliff James was our next door neighbour in Hawne Lane Halesowen, I looked up the Marriage details:-

Cliff James Married Muriel May Sherrett 4.0.1923 H/O Witnesses were
Lily James, Hilda Sherrett, Walter Billingham and Edie Sherrett. Father's were Herbert James and Edward Sherrett. Address 63 Cherry Street Halesowen.

I remember he wore a flat cap and was a prolific gardener, threw a bucket of water over our Cat who used his garden for a toilet..............happy days from linell.
