1861 Census - Charles Ireland - Help please ARC TBC?

Post by snoopysue »

Can anyone find Charles Ireland on the 1861 Census?

Here's what I know.

Charles Ireland born about 1810/1812 in Evesham, Worcs. Married Ann Shotton Woolvin (date uncertain, but first child born in 1836).
In 1841 they are here:
Lichfield Road, Aston, Erdington, Warwickshire
Charles, 25, Lab,
Ann, 25,
John, 5,
George, 2,
None born in county

1851
Hunters Lane, Handsworth, Staffordshire
Charles Ireland, Head, Mar, 39, Night Man, Worcs Evesham
Ann, Wife, 38, Glos
John, Son, 15, Night Man, Glos Wynchent
George, Son, 7, Birmm
Elizabeth, Daur, 5, Handsth
Sarah Ann, Daur, 2, Handsth
Infant, Son, 3 weeks, Handsth

In 1861
Ann is here:
Ten Acres, Northfield, Worcestershire
Ann Ireland, Head, Mar, 49, Glos Winchcombe
George, Son, Unmar, 17, Tubes Maker, Warwicks Hockley
Elizabeth, Daur, Unmar, 15, Scholar, Staffs Handsworth
Charles, Son, 10, Scholar, Staffs Handsworth
William Oakes, Visitor, Widower, 63, Ag Lab, Glos Winchcombe

In 1870 Charles dies at the Wotton Lunatic Asylum, Kingsholm, Gloucestershire. I have his death cert which says he's a labourer from Winchcombe. So my thourghts are that he's already been comítted. The cause of death is Pyæmia which is a type of septacemia or blood poisoning, so presumably not why he was admitted.

Thanks for any help :-)
