I probably need to explain we have a largish plot, complete with woodland and a pond and the house is built on a slope, so at the front it looks like one storey, but at the back two.
If I'm lucky I might get by veggie plot this year, last year I got fed up and planted a load of herbs in pots - but this year I might actually get to grow something a bit more substantial. Since we've moved in (about five years ago), I've redone some of the herbacious borders, moved things around and planted bulbs, now I'll suddenly have at least twice that, as well as the veggies (I hope!!). The back garden is mostly lawn, with the wooded areas around the edges - that's mostly natural looking (although I have plans my other half doesn't know about yet!).
It's a bit nerve racking though, seeing this huge digger so close to the house, although our neighbour does know what he's doing.
I think I know what my summer will be spent doing
