poss same guy as would be 58 in 1841 (rounding down 1841) census but his wife might of given the detials or some one else to the eumerator

unless he telling porkie to his wife how old he is ?

The Census says he was born West Brom San, could have been an older brother who died and your George was baptised somewhere where the records are either lost or not on the IGI :?:
