Marriage at British Embassy, Paris 1842 ARC TBC

I would like to order a marriage certificate for a marriage that took place in the British Embassy Chapel, Paris, Seine, France on June 4, 1842 between John Larkham Manning and Elizabeth Staddon. I don't know why they would have been there at that time.


I would also like to find the birth certificate for their first child, Lancelot Larkham Manning who was born in Paris 1844.


Unfortunately, I have no idea who to make my request to. A request was made to the Embassy who referred me to St. Michael's Church. I have emailed them twice but have not received a response.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find these documents?
