ARC TBC - Which ship did my mother travel on.
Mabel Hardie travelled from NZ to London with her parents William and Annie Hardie about 1938-1939. I am trying to find out which ship and when and to view the passenger list.

Re: Which ship did my mother travel on.
They arrived aboard the Strathnaver (a fairly famous immigration ship) on the 25th May 1939.
Give me your e-mail address in a private message and I will send you the passenger manifest.
Looks like William and Annie also traveled aboard the Narkunda in April 1935.
Both trip they had to catch a ship from New Zealand to Brisbane, Australia and then catch the cruise ship to England.
I can give you the arrival manifest but the departure manifest is probably with the National Archives

Hi
A PM won't "go" until Mark opens it at his end, so it may take a few hours until he is back online.

I'd also be interested to know about the Narkunda voyage and when they returned from that trip. Many thanks.
