A lot of those Homers were Presbyterian so that is probably the right track.

Lets see if I have this mob in my notes....

Just looking at the parish register and they have some of the dates of birth.

Mary born 10th May 1791.

Phoebe born 10th August 1797

I can't find Barnabus/Barnaby in the register in 1800 or any other time.

Ooops...found Barnanbus in the register....he is missing from the index.

Born January 9th 1795. Barnabus and Hannah near Netherend, Cradeley are his parents. Same description for Phoebe and Hannah.

There is another Barnabus Homer born about 1805 living in the same area.

I would say the Barnabus on BCC is the 1805 one, not the son of Barnabus and Hannah.

There is one born abt 1802 in Hereford in the Stourbridge Union Workshouse in the 1871 census. (Depressing how many Homers there are in there...).

That would not be the one married to Jane in the 1841 census.

They had a daughter Elizabeth and he is living with her in 1871.

Name: Elizabeth Homer
Gender: Female
Baptism/Christening Date: 28 Mar 1819
Baptism/Christening Place: Worcester, England

Looking at the image, Lye is the town of birth for Barnabas.
