I think we had a thread about first record bought etc.
Last night I went to a Paul Young concert, probably shouldn't have! Anyhow, I think that No Parlez was probably the last album bought as a record. I moved here just after and I bought very little for a long time!
Last album bought?

If you're talking vinyl, then I'm not sure, but probably Abba.
As a CD I bourght MIKA's The Boy Who Knew Too Much, before that I think it was an Eddie Reader CD.
I buy a fair amount through I-tunes, at least I get to leave off the tracks I don't like!

I still buy albums!
I love flicking through old vinyl at car boot sales etc and then I convert them to CD and MP3 when I get them home.

Re: Last album bought?
Vinyl: I had a period of poverty in the 1980s when I bought virtually no albums but when my financial situation changed in the early 90s I had a splurge buying stuff from then but looking through my shelves I think it might have been Tom Waits - Swordfish Trombones.
CD: We attend a lot of live music (averaging over a gig a week through the year) and frequently buy a CD from the performers.Again looking through the shelves I think the latest one was Fay Held - Looking Glass. Actually it was Willard White singing Paul Robeson songs but that's for MrsSRD for her Christmas stocking.

No record player here, so not an option!
