I had a look in the Vicar's notes, hoping it may give some clue as to which Cox family this lot belong to.

Still in High Town 1857 - Elizabeth No Church Widow? Greek Symbol for immoral behaviour, (probably not married.) Children work at Bricks etc irregularly. Phyllis 26 No Church Greek Symbol for immoral behaviour, Brick Worker - Hannah 24 No Church same Greek Symbol Brickmaker - Thomas alias Thomas Jackey 22 No Church, he also has the Greek Symbol Chainmaker - Louisa 15 No Church Brickmaker - William 14 No Church Chainmaker - Benjamin 9 Unbaptised No School son of Phyllis.

There's a Joseph and Ann Cox near by, could be a connection :?:
