Afternoon all!

Yesterday was a momentus day.
Wolves managed to calm the nerves of their fans for at least another few days.
But being a hardened cynic until the maths say we are UP then I cannot get too excited.
As we have been here before and let it slip :(

As for the more important part of the day apparently Jan got some nice stuff but
I was too busy watching my beloved Wolves on the tele to take much notice.
The main thing was that we managed to pry her away from her first love
for at least a few hours (computer) just to show her that there was life beyond.

Back to the footie, thanks for your message of support Mally and I hope that
the blues manage to dislodge the Yorkshire tykes who have moved into second place.

As for our neighbours in the Tesco carrier bags I would like to offer my best wishes
for the rest of the season- -------- but I can't it just goes against the grain

That's all for now
take care all
Ed

Let's all pause this weekend to remember Hillsborough.
To be exact 15 April but this weekend will be used for remembrance of that tragic day when 96 fans died and many more were injured.
Following the disaster, Lord Justice Taylor was appointed to conduct an inquiry.Which resulted in a document known as " The Taylor Report " that laid out the events of the day and conclusions formed.
Also general recomendations on football ground safety.
The disaster changed the face of modern-day football and, since then, terraces have been replaced with all-seater stadiums and fences removed from around pitches.
It kind of puts into perspective the game of football. It is only a game no matter how we try to pretend otherwise.

Afternoon All!

I am exhausted, have no nails left and am mentally drained!!
And to cap it all I now have to eat one of Northern Lass's dinners!!
:(

But what an afternoon!!!
After another roller coaster ride Wolves are in sight of the promised land.

But until the Maths say we are up I am not shouting too loudly

Hope the blues can mangae to nudge Sheffield out of the way and join us at the top
Hopefully all will be determined next weekend

That's all for now

Ed

Now that's a coincidence Manny my Brummie mate i've just put the phone down on Winston. He called me when he got home from St Andrews. He was a worried man but i've managed to set his mind at rest and he can go to the bingo over Weoley Castle with a feeling of contentment. He's known me all his life so he knows!!
I told him look Reading are out of it although the last match of the season could be crucial and the only danger that i can see is either Cardiff or Sheffield Utd but they'll lose at Burnley next week anyway.
Cardiff may make a late surge but if Blues get 7 points out of the last 3 matches then they're up!!
Pity West Brom wont be there but if they can stay up we'll join them the season after!! Sorted!1
I haven't mentioned Wolves but Wolf Man knows the score!!
