thanks for that your right,i mean it as anunusual name i have, which is an adavntage, for finding information, but a diasagavantage beacause people easily make a mistake with the spelling, if my mile to day has varients. i have a marriage certificate for william haiyes jrn fromjuly 29th 1847. he is amrrying elizabeth hogg his 2nd wife, it says william hairyes, widiwer ,labourer,of full age.residence at time of marriage knasborugh.fathers name william hairyes spelt correctly.fathers profession labourer.and elizabeth hoggi cant read the first nme and hes a tailor.on 181 cencus it has william jrn born scotland,in 1881 it says william born on the ocean, then 1861 it says born balk, north yorkshire. i apoligize for tis i forgot about this but i chacked scotland and the ocean on ancestry and couldnt find william so i put balk down for his birth. why would anyone put 3 different places down. and then i found the exact match of jod fathers nae and age in elloghton in 1841. as one geneoligist told me that names can change so much that can unreconziable from the name now,is there any way of gtting beyhond 1919 with the eveidence i have thanks

I can't see a marriage anywhere for this, under this spelling in 1847.
