well it has spelt hairs in 1841.spelt correctly 1861.1881, 1911, Is there annyway of linking the other family members to find william snr perhaps with a different spelling.ie elizabeth is 4 years older it says so she is born 1813on 1841 cencus, and william born 1834,and joseph born 1837,thanks again

Ages on 1841 census are to be taken with a pinch of salt! Ages were supposed to be rounded down to the nearest five years, so someone aged 49 should appear as 45. But sometimes they were written as they were, sometimes they seem to have been rounded up - you also need to take into account that people didn't always know when they were born. Sometimes (although not in this case), an older wife's age was adjusted so that she appears younger than her husband! If memory serves children under 4 should have the correct age.

To me I think you really need to go slowly and check all details first with certificates etc. especially with the name.

It would help people who are trying to help you if you give all info you have. Marriage certs stating parents occupations and witnesses.
Birth certs stating maiden name of Mother.

Its very hard as people have said to find things beyond the age you may get in the 1841 census. A lot of marriages earlier than 1837 dont state fathers name.
Birth records from parish records early on dont always say much either!
Being Ag Labs you will lucky to get much more!
