Reads Certified copy of an 1897 Birth sub district Kingswinford Stafford
14th March 1897 Richard father Jonh Batchelor forge Lab Mother Ann Maria Elizabeth Batchelo Formaly Steadman. Potter Street Brierley Hill
Just realised it's his birthday today

Yes we think that maybe that is the Ann Maria E we have found on census

maybe Ann or Elizabeth whatever her name was she called herself, maybe JOhn Batchelor and her didn't marry
maybe already married to other people?

When I go to archives I will look up those marriages
see if for that John father is John

Not sure we can do more on this until we get the marriage info

so going to flag to archive pending more info

I dont think we are going to find a marriage for JOhn Batchelor and Ann Maria Steadman

G.dau (Ann Maria Elizabeth Steadman) of neighbour (Corneilus Allport) in 1861 marries/lives with neighbours (John Chance) dau's (hannah chance) husband (John Batchelor)
wife still alive....................this is what it looks like to me

looks like for some reason Hannah and John split and went separate ways
