Meant to add....that living in 1919 and 1920 are Solomons father Samuel and his wife esther
1919 and 1920 there are six people registered to vote at 167 High Street , Quarry Bank:
Charles Attwood; Marie Attwood; Esther Hill; Samuel Hill; Solomon Hill and Charles Philpott.
Solomon Hill is allowed to vote only in Parliamentary Elections
whilst the other five are allowed to vote in both Parliamentary and Local Government Elections.
Solomon Hill is marked as an absent voter in the May 1919 register but not the Autumn 1919 register but not in May 1919; Spring 1920 or Autumn 1920 registers.
so that is why that address is used

What do you think about that Richard William Smith living in 167 High st in 1914
now he might be a bro to John Henry Smith
John henry Smith has that Elsie Smith
the right age
the family may have known Solomon Hill
Solomon died ?
wonder if it might be worth just looking for deaths for an Elsie Hill in Stourbridge area
with an age for Elsie that match .... that dob for Elsie Smith
real long shot I know
she must have died before Sol as she is not named on the cert
it is that Mary M Dunn
and who is she!

Hey Rocky that electoral info was from Staffs themselves
but just thinking why isnt she on the elec regis in 1919 (unless married later) but she should have been on 1920 as Sol was
odd that

HI NL pretty sure women did not get the vote until 1928, so Elsie wouldn't be on the Electoral Roll.
