But not good enough!!
Maybe if Blues had been awarded the penalty just before half time it would have been a different story!!
It seems Wolves were the better team but let' s hope a long cup run doesn't affect their chances in the championship because i'm looking forward to " The Big 4 " all being members of the Premier League next season..
Yes,West Brom to stay up!!!
I've looked at the fixture list for the rest of the season and i can see West Brom making another " Great Escape" especially with the form of Jay Simpson and the pending arrival of the Portugese fella from Benfica!! Yes it's looking good and a cup run to boot!!
How many more " Jay Simpsons' " are languishing in the reserves of top clubs.Their development being stifled by the overflow of "Foreign Players"?
I am a supporter of a limit on foreign born players in English football teams but how can the people responsible for our "beautiful game"
enforce this? Surely it would be contrary to the European employment regulations?
Now it's Wolves at home to Middlesborough and West Brom against Burnley. Both games are their to be won.We shall see in 2 weeks time!!

Too right Rob, we didn't deserve to win! Wolves were the better team & good luck to them!

Evening All!
Fresh from our victory over the Blue noses
things seem to be on the up for the boys in Old Gold and Black!
A good cup run would be great but as you say the main focus must be on the championship
I must disagree on one point, about having the big 4 in the top division with the baggies in the championship it would vastly increase my ablility to gloat!!
However knowing their luck I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled off another " great escape" time will tell
Bye for now

A win tomorrow for West Brom will be their 3rd home win in succession and will create a record!!
Albion have never beaten the same side twice during a Premier League season!!
Middlesborough have a good side but are so inconsistent.Hard to predict but i asked my mate Dave and he says predict the opposite of what you mean!!?
For good lucks sake you see!
So it's Middlesborough to win!!
Woves and Blues both have tough matches.Bristol City still have everything to play for and hopes are high for a play off place come April(or is it May?)

1-1 my prediction!!
Winston told me with their new signings on board 2-1.He should know cos he goes to every home match!!
Gloat- A feeling of great, often malicious, pleasure or self-satisfaction.
Bad vibes Man!

Think of these words from Hillel The Elder
"If I am not for myself, who will be for me? And when I am for myself, what am 'I'? And if not now, when?"
Peace!!

Weve done it before and we will do it again
On the same note I can see the W*lves messing their promotion run up 2001/2 style

Hey who's this? At last someone with knowledge of football!!
Well he's from Blackheath so he'd have to be!
Nice to see you agree with me about West Brom staying up.A good win on saturday although against a team rapidly going downhill.
Will Gareth be there next season?
So Dudeleylad, you don't fancy Wolves(or should that be W*lves?) to gain promotion!!
I hope Wolves and Blues join us next year in the Premier it'll be like back in the 60's again(zzzzzzzzzzzz)
Bristol City are an improving side with everything left to play for so i think it was a good point for the Wolves.
Burnley next. What you think Dudley? Are we going to have a good cup run this year?

Rob Id love nothing more than the Wolves to find themselves in the Premier League alongside us at least its 6 points for us towards the magical 40
In all seriousness though I can see them messing it up comments have started to come out about not looking below them etc, just like when we pipped them to the post.
Whoever finishes third wont go up this season in my view they will be too many points clear of 4th and will be demoralised.
It was a good win Saturday the two new players gelled well and it was the first time this season that we looked comfortable.
Burnley will be tough (that reminds me got to sort my cup tickets out before Saturday fancy a change from my usual seat in the Smethwick End) but I think we will come through and who knows only a couple of rounds until Wembley again.

My mate Dave's a season ticket holder and he keeps me informed!!
Too far for me to travel unfortunately but in spirit i'll be there!!
West Brom and Wolves to win.Although Middlesborough will be trying hard to revitalize their season and keep Gareth Southgate in a job.So it could be a draw with 'Boro to win replay!!
Sorry Wolfie!!

It was a case of us not taking our chances yet again Pete
Punished at the death but to be far Burnley had as much of the game as we did

So we go to Turf Moor (do they still play at Turf Moor?

) and we move on into the Fifth Round!!
I had a feeling Middlesborough would win. They have to keep their season alive.
Now Wolves can concentrate on winning the Championship.
Winston went to Blackpool as he always does when Blues play there. He likes the night life!!
I haven't spoke to him yet but i can't imagine he'll be pleased.Anyway he's in a pub now at the back of the Golden Mile drowning his sorrows!!
Blackpool won with 10 men!!
To make matters worse on-loan striker DJ Campbell scored for Blackpool!! How often do former players score against their old clubs?
Anyway West Brom have Burnley next and Man United at home next week!!

EasyPeasy!!

Evenin all!
Just a few point to throw into the public arena!!
Wolves- we was robbed!
Teesiders hacked us 3 or 4 times the ref ignored it and they broke away to score.
Bitter and twisted as I sound we will now focus on the league! and Volkes got onto the score board which is a good move!!
The Bluenoses
Sorry Mally but you seem to ave had a bad day at the office! Although it is little help Blackpool on their day can be a decent team!
But you have to ask yourself is this the start of the slippery slide?
The baggies...spit spit!
First off hiya Dudley lad watch out for that Rob!
Wot can I say they drew whoopie doo!
Burnley were obviously robbed
that's all!
from your unbiased Golden reporter!

We appear to be 'avin' quite a few!!
I must admit, I didn't listen to the match (visitors) but surely they can't get any worse!
