Hi Just looking Mallosa,
Stanley Bate we decided was 1899 not 1900
Joan Bate also seems disconected from parents but not sure how tribal pages displays so perhaps just for appearance
Is anyone able to do one more look up for Mary Bate in previous post to test my theory?

John Thomas Bate must be on BCC twice as one added today is not married to Henrietta Tooth. When I added some ages ago I would have started with this marriage so presume this needs connecting up

Yes that is right-are they duplicated? When I followed the Joseph Bate line son of Joseph and Mary, I went back to father Joseph but could not see son John Thomas. Does this make sense?

John Thomas Bate is younger brother of Joseph Bate who married Selina and both are sons of Joseph Bate and Mary
The connection I could not see is brothers-Joseph and John Thomas
Have had a look around Tribal Pages-think it is just me knowing how to navigate or not as the case may be- I've just added another spouse Lilly Green for Alfred Bate-date not known

BATE * Edwin G DETHERIDGE Millicent Blackheath, St Paul Dudley Register Office 012/007/388
you would need to look at the marriage and confirm the name for Edwin as Joseph
