Sometimes I have sent a message and it seems if someone else sends one at the same time, mine has still been there - I just send again and wait for the "post was successful" message

I am also an 8 hour girl. But cant sleep without a read...And yes I have been known to stay up to the wee hours, either on comp or writing things down..Its not good

I do wonder sometimes why we do it?? Taken over my spare time, and some that most definately isnt!
Do we need therapy??
Why is genealogy so bloomin addictive for some of us and yet everyone else in my family thinks I'm Raving!!??

:?

Totally agree, for us addicts every piece in the puzzle is important and interesting, and then sometimes you get on the scent of something a bit unusual and the hunt intensifys and time flies by!
Sometimes the hunt is cut short by a family member wrestling the computer away from you!

I have 4 computers so nobody steals my PC when I am hunting dead people!!!!

Of course the cable modem sometimes breaks and then I have to jump in the car and head for AIGS.

Sometimes I am the only person sitting amongst the biggest genealogy library in Australia!!!
