As a young lad I once hinted I like the game Mastermind.
By the end of Christmas Day I had seven Mastermind games from Mum/Dad and Aunts/Uncles.
So sometimes it does not pay off to hint what you want

I mentioned to my children when they were younger that i'd never eaten toblerone as a kid.It was only for the middle class hockey set who lived on the edge of the park and not tatty kids from Cakemore Estate.
Ever since then i get a massive stick of it every christmas!! But you know what? I don't like it that much!!

You want to get him properly trained while he is still young and malleable

I lived on a council estate, but we had toblerones. Never forget the day a sweet lorry overturned on the Oakham Road. Sweets and kids everywhere ..... I was there with me bucket - at the end of the day - most of them were gone - only the menthol and eucalyptus and the ones that fell in the ditch were left.

How lucky that was, wish I'd been there with my bucket, even the menthol would have gone the gog loves them.
