My ex once got on top of the post office building, newly built in West Bromwich years ago to test the concrete and couldn't get down - they had to get the fire brigade in to bring him down. Now - I could undersand the ladies using this one ...

Oh he did, it was before we were married - if I'd known what I know now - I'd have paid them to leave him up there

Was up ours last week, helping my other half looking for missing electric cables that the chippy had hidden (long story, surfice it to say we built our own house - hubby's an electrician and we've been in for more than three years - but are the electrics finished? ). Didn't really want to come back down either - at least he was at the bottom of the ladder ready to catch me if necessary!!

Going up is easy its the coming down thats difficult. I could climb any tree when i was a kid but it always seems higher coming down.
A lot of cats have the same problem its not exclusive to men.
Maybe only tomcats? Hmm i'll give it some more thought!!

Maybe I'd climb more ladders if there were some nice firemen to help me down (you know like when the cats get stuck up trees)

How about this one....

Could you imagine how nervous you would be just handling the thing.

Since my narcolepsy can cause loss of muscle control when I am nervous I wouldn't even attenpt to lift it

The most expensive thing I have ever broken, and this was before I had narcolepsy, was a $200,000 piece of electronics equipment I was installing.

I was ten feet up a ladder with another bloke when I let go of it thinking he had hold of it.

We both watched it slowly topple and crash to the ground with a rather loud "ka thump".

I had to fill in a lot of paper work to explain that one.
