Not direct enuff gal...how about

To all that have come for this free nosh
don't be tight wads give us yer dosh

we brighten up yer dull little life
so as we become husband and wife

we say to you in the spirit of giving
decent pressies, or life won't be worth living

not a measly one or two pound
or will have to send the boys around

Eeh could you imagine me printing that out! Like it mind!
Good with your words NL! Precise and to the point.

Mark, we had 2 teasmaid thingys. Tried them and kept them there a long while but they go to the tip in the end  Should have kept them they might have been worth something now!
They woke you up with water boiling before the alarm went off!
Its an awful thought people spending time and money on things you dont need or want. And awfull just to ask for money too!
They are meant to be there to share an important day with you.

Our home has been made with Love and Care,
Most things we need we've already got,
And in our home we can't fit a lot!
A wishing well we thought would be great,
(But only if you wish to participate),
A gift of money is placed in the well,
Then make a wish .... but don't tell!
Once we've replaced the old with the new,
We can look back and say it was thanks to you!
And in return for your kindness shared,
We're sure one day soon you will get what you wished for."

Does that sound cheeky to you?

I think it's perfect if you ask me Jo

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Oh thanks Peter, never even thought on Studio, used to get Christmas things from them. I'll have a good look, may be cheaper and nicer than me doing them!

Rick and his family have got their Kilts and things ordered. Ricks having a Ben Wyvis tartan in a Prince Charlie style but a higher waistcoat. He wasnt born Scotland but lived there from a babe thats why its not a clan tartan.

Should I be getting excited yet?

I do like a man in a kilt.

Apache Blessing

Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness,
for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons,
but there is only one life before you.
May beauty surround you both in the
journey ahead and through all the years,
May happiness be your companion and
your days together be good and long upon the earth.

Oh how lovely

Aggghhhhh Re: Weddings!

Oh my daughters in tears!
One of the bridesmaid dresses had to be returned because it was too big and faulty. The 10th of June she had an email saying they will send another shortly.
She has emailed and they dont reply. Tried phoning and managed to get through the other day and they said they would contact again. Nothing so she has phoned them again today. As time is getting on and still a dress down.
They told her they dont have the dress in that size anymore, they will only give her money back for 1 dress
Then started shouting at her in Chinese! Now all they do when she rings is say goodbye!
I dont get cross very often but am so mad!!!!!
Big breath!!!

I don't know what to say. I can understand your daughters frustrations. I only hope she can get it sorted for the big day.
Totally unproffesional of them - have you considered trading standards?
