Ok someone might be joining that has an Olive branch for this family
I have merely greased the wheels on this one!
we need to know if Ann Daly is the mother
I think it is
so that birth certif looks like the one for Elizabeth
Births Dec 1873
Truman Elizabeth Ann Pontypridd 11a 326
look ups on
so will flag this
and Oil move it
hope that said person joined sees this.....

ello from the grandsun of Elizabeth Ann Tromans or Trowman.. or Truman.. or Trueman .... as you can c spellin isn't grate in our family!!
Thanks to you all for having a go at sorting this one out. I have sent for a birth certificate and will post as soon as I get a reply.
I haven't found an Ann Daly from Pembrokeshire, but I'm new at this game so perhaps one of you can.
Sarah Ann Webb was from Pembrokeshire, and did marry a Reubens Tromans in 1869 .... is this the correct Reubens ... I can't believe that Tromans ( and Spelling variations ) is such a common surname ... and Reuben Tromans ... well!
I might have a few more questions but will have a look around the forum and see if other family skeletons can be shaken
Thanks again

Hello
I have obtaimed a copy of the birth certificate of Elizabeth Ann Truman (Tromans) b. 4/11/1873 registered in Pontypridd, which states that her mother was Ann Daly..... so my Sarah Ann Webb theory looks to be ruled out.
However, in later census's Ann gives her place of birth as Pembrokeshire and I can't find an Ann Daly being born/baptised in Pembrokeshire. There is an Ann Dally so I think I will now purchase a copy of Reuben/Ann marriage and see if it sheds any more light.
