Looked up marriage for William Jones and Louisa Cox
Married 4 May 1856 St Thomas Dudley
William Jones X Full age Bachelor Fruitere Living Dudley Father Samuel Jones Fruiterer
Louisa Cox Full age Spinster Living Dudley Father Benjamin Cox Nailer
Wit: Sarah Harper X Henry Cox

Help I'm getting really confused.

Whether these two families were originally one Cox family with the Benjamins being cousins both named after a Benjamin grandfather has yet to be seen.

From their birth dates I would think Thomas Cox and Nancy West are most likely to be parents of Benjamin 1 and therefore GG?grandparents of Shadrach.

that look up involves the two jones being linked i think ?

it checks out as far as I am concerned
That Samuel Jones that married Mary Basterfield is a carter and William Jones is a Carter on marriage
and on census in 1881 William father is a carter
i am joining up
