the birthplace for him and his children in 1861 & 1871 census is given as Netherton.
I can see two possible marriages on WestMids BMD:

1852 St Martin, Tipton William Pearsall/ SUSANNA Harris (Sandwell Register Office 39/6/359)
1855 All Saints, Sedgley William Pearsall/ HANNAH Russon (Dudley Register Office 216/009/84)
Obviously the birthdate for their daughter Elizabeth (abt 1853, Netherton - from 1871 census: she is not with her parents in 1861 for some reason) confuses the issue - wonder if the age given on census is correct? (Can anyone see her in 1861?)
Williams wife, Hannah, from the census, was born abt 1832, Netherton, which may help determine the correct marriage?



The marriage to Susannah I have started another thread for. I dont think thats the right marriage.
Possibly Hannah Russon?
Is this really Elizabeth Pearsall?

I have connected up George Pearsall and added 1901& 1911 census.

Have also added children and 1901 census for Samuel Danks/ Ann Southall - I have not been able to find any of them in 1911, but they must have been alive as my grandmother knew them, and she wasn't born until 1915!


This looks like the family, Annie remarried

Looks fine Jo, apart from date for marriage of Frederick Bullock/ Ann Southall - it had 1819! Have corrected it.
