So if Mary ann is dau of Thomas and Ellen Steadman

wonder why Joseph James is with Henry Tromans on 1911?
as it seems that there are other Homers with Elen on 1911 Lily g Homer and Kate Homer.

think we just add James Joseph as son with note to Eli can anyone do that or I will later

Eli has a son John Thomas born 1896 who was also in the war.

May be as mark says Eli was next of kin and not father?

I have added him now with a note so that will be ok whilst we have a better look
Interestingly that Lily gertrude grand dau is dau of Eli on marriage
maybe they just farmed them out
