Northern Lass and I were only interested in old buildings and the one we saw was the Conservative club. I've just looked on Google Street view and the Labour club isn't visible from the road, which is probably why we didn't see it. You stated the Labour Club is where the Club Buildings were, which was an inaccuracy, as they were the other side of the road. A better term to use would have been, 'In the vicinity of'.
