You'll end up like Richard III if you only use one pole (assuming that he was, which he may not have been). Anyhow, you need two or none.

I hate those sticks. I used to go hiking here with a walking group and those sticks ruin it! There you are tramping along in the peaceful outdoors, and all you hear is clatter clatter clatter as sticks hit the rocks. :evil:

lol !! I walk for an hour everyday and in the fall/ winter I normally wear big walking boots and wool socks ! No walking stick yet though...but who knows maybe tomorrow :grin:
