To help keep the board tidy, please amend any completed lookup requests, or discussions which have reached a conclusion so that the subject line reads "COMPLETED" or "Archive".
To do that ,go to your first post and click edit, change the subject line, then submit.
This will allow us to move the thread to the archive (no on-topic posts will be deleted in case they're needed later for reference) so that main forum threads are kept fresh and get maximum interest from new site users.
Any thread that is archived can come back if you just ask a moderator to move it back for you.
Please keep the General Discussion to open threads for named individuals Genealogy Queries/ should you have more of a general misc query
we have some sub forums which may be more appropriate for posting in.
