Secret Story

Post by Rob »

We have this new reality soap on over here called Secret Story.15 people (young and supposedly good looking) move into a luxery villa in Portugal sealed off from the outside world and there every move is watched on camera. I came upon it the day after it started by accident.I was zapping as one does and saw what i thought was a woman in bed.The duvet was missarranged so that you could see "her" thigh. Her left one.Anyway i thought whats this and after watching for about 30 minutes she woke up!! Guess what it was a feller!!!.
Anyway each one of them has a seecret and the goal of the "game" is to unravel each others secret.Every week one person leaves the villa and last man standing wins a vast amount of money!!!
Now i'm hooked.A bit like genealogy i suppose.
What you think? Exciting or what ? Or am i a really aging sad person?

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Doesn't sound like my sort of thing, I was never very interested in big brother either!

I suppose though if you see it from the beginning, then you could get hooked, maybe.

I get hooked on X-factor, but only if I've seen it from the beginning!

The sort of reality programs I like the best, are probably the ones that are more like real life. Something like the ones when they send a family to live like the victorians did - it's not our reality, but it might have benn if we'd have been born 150 years ago! And I suppose being bitten by the genealogy bug I've got something to relate it all too!

Especially when it is the same farm your relatives actually worked on, such as the one on The Victorian Farm.

My girls were sick of me telling them their 5 x G Grandad worked on that farm....
