I have the marriage certificate for Edwin and Mary.
Witness John Arnold was a lodger.

Can someone list the 1841 census for Benjamin Johnson pls.

Do you think that going on the evidence i have that i am on the right track with this Edwin.

I sent for the Edwin Johnson born 1839 Dudley, but it did not match any of my information the father was listed as John Johnson. Address was nowhere near all my other family.

are the details on that marriage certif correct for edwin that Farside posted pls lou lou

This is correct for the cerifitcate that i have.

I have traced my family tree quite far on all other lines of my family, including the Boswells, but i am stuck with my Johnson line.It is get very frustrating. I have been doing this now in 2009!!

I will check tonight who the other witness was.

There are quite a few unnamed Johnson births in RR
might be worth contacting the Regis office and say you are looking for a boy
born 2 years sweep of 1840 mother Phebe and see what they say

On 1891 census there is a John Smart living with Mary.

She married him in 1892.
They are together on the 1901 and 1911 census. With a daughter Gertie Smart.

Edwin died somewhere between 1881 and 1891, Can anyone help with a death record or buriel? Will this have his mother and father on?

On 1891 census there is a John Smart living with Mary.

Ive started a thread with Boswell family, if you have anything you can add to that loulou I will add it.

Other than that everything is on now I think. Still looking as though Edwin didnt really have a father.
